Girlsgruppe: „Was machst du an Silvester“ … keiner ist in Wien ausser Mona und ich. Was machen wir, keinen Bock auf Wien. London – oder Barcelona ? Barelona ! Ist wärmer.. und Abflug.

Girlsgroup: „What are you doing on New Year’s Eve“ … nobody is in Vienna except Mona and me. What are we going to do, no desire to stay in Vienna. London – or Barcelona ? Barcelona ! It’s warmer… and departure.

Anfänglich gabs zwar einige Schwierigkeiten mit Airbnb und Flug, aber Schlussendlich hat doch alles so geklappt wie wir uns vorgestellt haben (außer New Years Eve haha) und das Jahr hat super gestartet.. könnte mir keinen besseren Start vorstellen 😉

In the beginning there were some difficulties with Airbnb and the flight, but in the end everything worked out as we imagined it would (except New Years Eve haha) and the year started super… couldn’t imagine a better start 😉

31.12.17 New Years Eve

Am 31. gings für uns kurz nach Mittag auf nach Barcelona und oh gott ich kanns euch gar nicht sagen, kaum ausgestiegen und schon happy af. Das Wetter war richtig richtig gut und zu Wien 1:100. Naja, gelandet gings mit den Öffis zu unserem Airbnb, dann erstmal Essen besorgen, haben (mehr oder weniger) lecker gekocht und am Abend gings in die Stadt. Das einzige Problem.. wir waren super Planlos und hatten keinen Schimmer wo eine gute Party steigt, oder wohin man geht. Also haben wir uns einfach bei einer Pup Crawling Gruppe angeschlossen.. und 25€ für nichts bezahlt haha. Es gab gratis Bier und richtig eklige Shots 😀 Und die Stimmung in der ersten Bar war.. naja.. einschläfernd. Danach wollten wir das Feuerwerk sehen, aber wir waren wohl am einzigen Platz wo man KEIN Feuerwerk sah haha.. aber Instagram sei dank, haben wir trotzdem einiges gesehen. Nach der 2. Bar haben wir uns dann erstmal aus dem Staub gemacht und sind zurück in unser Airbnb und haben gemütlich einen Film geschaut und um 2 Uhr schlafen gegangen. Naja. So aufregend wars nicht, aber trotzdem gemütlich 😉

New Years Eve

On the 31st we went to Barcelona shortly after noon and oh god I can’t tell you at all, hardly got out and already happy af. The weather was really good and comparing to Vienna 1:100. Well, landed went with the public transport to our Airbnb, then first got food, cooked (more or less) delicious food and in the evening went to the city. The only problem… we were super aimless and had no idea where a good party would be or where to go. So we just joined a Pub Crawling group… and paid 25€ for nothing haha. There was free beer and really disgusting shots 😀 And the atmosphere in the first bar was… well… sleepy. After that we wanted to see the fireworks, but we were probably at the only place where you didn’t see any fireworks haha… but thanks to Instagram, we saw a lot anyway. After the 2nd bar we beat off and went back to our Airbnb and watched a movie and went to sleep at 2 o’clock. Well. It wasn’t that exciting, but still cosy 😉

Airbnb

Nachdem wir 2 Airbnb’s stornieren mussten, weil es Probleme gab, haben wir schlussendlich unser 3. bekommen. Und es war im großen und ganzen richtig gut. Wir hatten eine ganze Unterkunft für uns, es war quasi Frühstück (Brot-Mandelmilch-Kaffee-Tee-Cornflakes..) mit dabei. Das Zimmer hatte eine perfekte Größe und war sehr sauber. Leider haben wir erst am letzten Tag kapiert wie das mit dem Fenster schließen geht.. also hats die Tage immer etwas gezogen und war frisch im Zimmer (es gab aber einen Heizkörper). Das einzige Manko, es war etwas Laut, da das Fenster direkt an einer Straße lag. Aber war alles OK. Wir haben für 3 Nächte 190€ zusammen für die Unterkunft bezahlt.  Wir waren HIER.

Airbnb
After we had to cancel 2 Airbnb’s because of problems, we finally got our 3rd one. And it was all in all really good. We had a whole accommodation for us, it came with breakfast (bread, almond milk, coffee, tea, cornflakes…). The room had a perfect size and was very clean. Unfortunately we only understood on the last day how to close the window… so the days were always a little draughty and were fresh in the room (but there was a radiator). The only drawback, it was a bit noisy, because the window was directly facing a street. But everything was OK. For 3 nights we paid 190€ together for the accommodation.

What to do

Vintage Shopping: Ich glaube das war eines der meistgefragtesten Fragen die ich auf Instagram von euch bekommen hab.. „in welchem vintage store warst du“.. in mehreren 😉 Am besten findet ihr die Stores, wenn ihr die Namen einfach in Google Maps eingebt 🙂

• Holala! Plaza: Dort habe ich mir meine geliebte Hose gekauft, die ihr sicher bald noch auf Instagram sehen werdet 😉
• Flamingos Vintage Kilo: In dem Store bezahlt man.. wie der Name schon sagt, per Kilo 🙂 Hab mir dort einen Hoodie geholt

Food Food Food: Was natürlich nicht fehlen darf.. natürlich.. Essen. Das sind jetzt Foodplaces wo es veganes Essen auch gibt 🙂

• Brunch & Cake: War dort auch bei meinem letzen Barcelonabesuch schon und haaach, könnte alles von der Karte probieren. Hier gibt es außerdem glaub ich 3 oder 4 Brunch & Cake Cafés in Barcelona
• Flax & Kale
• Brunch & Cake by the Sea
• LULU
• Veggie Garden
• Surf House Barcelona
• Poke Maoli: Das befindet sich direkt am Strand und es gibt dort Poke Bowls die richtig lecker sind… jedoch meiner Meinung etwas teuer für das, was man bekommt. Aber unbedingt probieren.. und am Strand essen 🙂
• Mercat de la Boqueria: OMG.. OMG HEAVEN. Dort gibt es so ziemlich alles und ich hab so die leckere Mexikanische Bowl um 5 Euro gegessen und war richtig satt danach. Also wenn ihr dort seid UNBEDINGT vorbei schauen.
• Ansonsten gibt es super viele kleine Cafés und Restaurants.

Spazieren gehen:Macht man zwar sowieso, aber in jedem Bereich von Barcelona einfach mal zu Fuß rumlaufen, so sieht man einfach das meiste von der wunderschönen Stadt. Vor allem auch am Hafen 🙂

Vintage Shopping: I think that was one of the most asked questions I got from you on Instagram… „What vintage store have you been in“… in several 😉 The best way to find the stores is to simply enter their names into Google Maps 🙂

• Flamingos Vintage Kilo: In the store you pay… as the name says, by kilo 🙂 I got a hoodie there

Food Food Food: What of course should not be missing…Food. These are some food places where there is also vegan food 🙂

• Brunch & Cake: Was there already on my last visit to Barcelona and haaah, could try anything from the menu. I also think there are 3 or 4 Brunch & Cake Cafés in Barcelona.

• Brunch & Cake by the Sea
• LULU
• Veggie Garden
• Surf House Barcelona
• Poke Maoli: This is right on the beach and there are Poke Bowls that are really delicious… but in my opinion a bit expensive for what you get. But you have to try it… and eat at the beach 🙂

• Otherwise there are many small cafés and restaurants.

Walking: You do that anyways, but in every area of Barcelona just walk around, but just walking around in every area of Barcelona, helps in seeing most of the beautiful city. Especially at the harbour

Wie komm ich am besten durch die Stadt?

Number 1.. natürlich.. zu Fuß. Aber leider sind die Wege manchmal ziemlich weit. Uns wurde von unserem Airbnb Host empfohlen uns ein T10 Ticket zu kaufen, dh. 10 Fahrten für 9€ ( oder sowas). War super praktisch und wir haben glaub ich nicht mal alle aufgebraucht, also für einen Kurztrip perfekt.

Vom Flughafen sind wir mit dem Aerobus zur Metro gefahren, der kostete 5,90€. Anfangs war das Ubahn Netzt ziemlich unübersichtlich für uns.. nach ein paar mal Fahren, aber ganz easy 🙂

What’s the best way to get around town?
Number 1… of course… on foot. But unfortunately the ways are sometimes quite far. We were recommended by our Airbnb host to buy a T10 ticket, i.e. 10 rides for 9€ ( or something). It was super practical and we didn’t even use all of them, so it was perfect for a short trip.

From the airport we took the aerobus to the metro, which cost 5,90€. In the beginning the subway network was quite confusing for us… after a few trips, but very easy 🙂

Neues Tattoo

Ihr habt es sicher schon mitbekommen.. jaaa mein erstes Tattoo 2018. Und ich muss sagen, das ganze war eine Story für sich 😀
ALSO.. ich wollte eigentlich in meiner Instagramstory nach einem guten Tattoowierer in Barcelona fragen.. plötzlich schreibt mich aber random einer an und fragt ob ich ein Tattoo möchte.. naja die Seite und er waren ganz seriös, also hab ich erstmal gleich „ja“ gesagt, weil ihr kennt mich ja :D.

Motiv war schnell ausgemacht und er hat es auch so lange gezeichnet bis ich zufrieden war.
In Barcelona angekommen, war die Zeit und Ort ausgemacht. Kurz vor dem Termin standen wir vor der Türe und ich fragte ihn ob wir früher kommen können.. er meinte ja.. bis wir draufkamen, dass wir am falschen Ort waren. Naja der richtige war etwas außerhalb von Barcelona und es dauerte ca nochmal 30min da hin zu kommen. Irgendwie war ich schon etwas stutzig ob das wirklich so seriös ist. Schließlich hatte er sein Studio zuhause und da es außerhalb lag, würde mich auch keiner hören wenn ich um mein Leben schreiend getötet werde.. haha Spaß 😀 Auf jedenfall machten wir uns dann auf dem Weg und leider etwas ziemlich verspätet kamen wir dann an. Er war super nett und sehr professionell, die Gegend war zwar eine richtige Wohngegend aber völlig ok. Das Tattoo wurde wunderschön und man merkte, er kann es. Es tat nicht wirklich weh und auch jetzt das Heilen verläuft problemlos. Was ich auch gut fand, er war sehr genau und wollte es auch perfekt machen.

Motiv: Als Motiv suchte ich mir die Rose aus, einfach, weil ich Rosen schön und vor allem Zeitlos finde.
Stelle: Ich habe eigentlich zwischen Oberarm – Innenseite und zwischen meinen Boobs überlegt.. naja schließlich ist es 2. worden, weil ich es einfach wunderschön zu meinen 2 Phrasen finde. 🙂

New Tattoo

I’m sure you’ve already noticed… yeah my first tattoo in 2018. And I have to say, the whole thing was a story in itself 😀
ALSO… I actually wanted to ask in my Instagram Story for a good tattoo artist in Barcelona… but suddenly a random one writes me and asks if I want a tattoo… well the site and he were quite serious, so I said „yes“ right away, because you know me :D. The Motive was quickly identified and he also drew it until I was satisfied.

Arriving in Barcelona, the time and place was agreed upon. Shortly before the appointment we stood before the door and I asked him whether we can come earlier… he meant yes… until we realized that we were at the wrong place. Well, the right one was a little outside Barcelona and it took about 30 minutes to get there again. Somehow I was a little bit suspicious if this was really serious. After all his studio was at his home and since it was outside the city, nobody would hear me if I was killed screaming for my life. haha joke 😀 Anyways, we were on our way and unfortunately we arrived a little late. He was super nice and very professional, the area was a real residential area but completely ok. The tattoo became beautiful and you could see that he does it well. It didn’t really hurt and even now the healing goes without a hitch. What I also liked was that he was very precise and wanted to do it perfectly.

Motive: I chose the rose as my motive, simply because I find roses beautiful and above all timeless.
Place: I have actually debated between my inner upper arm – and my Boobs… well finally it became the second one, because I find it simply beautiful with my 2 phrases. 🙂

Abends haben wir dann meistens im Bett mit einem Disney Film verbracht haha und Tagsüber gefühlt durch ganz Barcelona gelaufen. Ich muss sagen.. dieses Jahr hat einfach super gestartet. Der ganze Trip war unglaublich .. ich war einfach am 01.01.2018.. also am ersten Tag des Jahres am Strand und habe Sonne genossen, so etwas hatte ich noch nie und es war wunderschön. Es sind ja schließlich die „kleinen Dinge im Leben“. Generell habe ich den Trip mit Mona super genossen und viel gelacht. Also mein Jahr 2018 kann kommen 🙂

In the evening we spent most of the time in bed with a Disney movie haha and during the day we walked through Barcelona. I have to say… this year just got off to a great start. The whole trip was incredible … I was actually, on the 01.01.2018 … on the first day of the year at the beach and enjoyed the sun, I never had anything like that before and it was beautiful. After all, it’s the „little things in life“. Generally I enjoyed the trip with Mona a lot and we laughed so much. So my year 2018 can come
